In my absence...
Dear 6-7ians
It is with great disappointment that in my absence, I have heard that the class has been misbehaving and also un-cooperative.
Do know that time is running out and if the class does not get its act together, you will find that you are choosing the road towards failure... not only failure to get through your auditions for the the National Day Dance but also failure to do well in the coming PSLE examinations.
These are my instructions that I want all of you to follow for the rest of the coming week:
For Prelim Oral examinations:
- please refer to the notes that I gave you last week and prepare some points on what to say if you were ask those questions
- please remember your Group, Team and Position for the exam
- bring a book to read or work to do to pass the time while waiting for your turn\
For National Day Dance audition:
- Only the students that I have identified will do the dance for the auditions
- If you qualify for the Finals, we will include the rest of the class
- Some of you have asked about who should sing. For the auditions, Cassandra and Wanyu will lead the vocals but EVERYONE who is dancing should join in the singing as well so that it will be louder. Xiaoying, can you help prepare a set of lyrics for the judges so that they will know what you are singing to?
- Class, let's focus on getting through the auditions first before thinking any further. If you work together, you will be able to make it. Unity is strength. Stop trying to pusue your own personal agenda. This NDP dance is not about YOU only... it is about ALL OF YOU!
For general class behaviour:
- I should not need to provide you with any instructions on this as you know my expectations so I hope you cooperate with the teacher who is reliefing me. Know that you do not have much time left before the PSLE and you need to use it well.
Your actions this week will determine a lot. I hope that when I return next week, I will not see disappointment and disharmony in the class.
